Smooth models of reductive groups over p-adic fields

Abstract

I will discuss smooth group schemes over p-adic integers withprescribed generic fiber and satisfying other conditions, and theirapplications to mass formula and local densities. Then I will presentrecent results on smooth models of reductive groups, with applications torepresentation theory of p-adic groups, including connections toMoy-Prasad theory, Schneider-Stuhler theory, and supercuspidal types.
