| Qualitative properties of solutions to nonlinear elliptic equations by Wei-Ming Ni, Professor of Mathematics,University of Minnesota, Minneapolis Abstract In this talk I would like to describe some qualitativeproperties of solutions to semilinear elliptic equations and/or systemsunder various boundary conditions. In particular, I will focus on theshape of solutions and its relation to the stability properties ofsolutions, considered under different contexts. Examples will be used toillustrate the point of view and some background of the examples will alsobe provided. | ||
