The overall goal of our laboratory is to decipher the protein kinase-mediated signaling pathways that contribute to disease states, especially breast cancer. We are also investigating the molecular mechanisms by which protein kinases are regulated. In our research we use molecular, cellular and biochemical approaches, including gene silencing, 3-dimensional cell culture systems, confocal microscopy, proteomic methods, as well as mouse models.
