Ed Bailey graduated from MSU in 2001.He was an Honors College Professorial Assistant with R. Fintushel and studied knot theory. Currently Ed is an MBA student at Stanford.

 

Jonathan Soffin graduated from MSU in 2001. Jonathan was an Honors College Professorial Assistant with R. Fintushel. He also studied knot theory with Ed Bailey and R. Fintushel. Jonathan is an MBA student at the University of Michigan

 

 

M. Shahrooz Amin graduated from the MSU School of Engineering in 2002. He was mentored by R. Fintushel in differential equations and complex variables. Shahrooz is now a graduate student at MIT in electrical engineering.

 
 
 
 
 
   
Ali Elgindi was an honors student in the joint BS/Masters program studying with R. Fintushel. Ali was the first winner of the Phillips Memorial Scholarship and he has also won the L.C. Plant award. Ali is interested in topology. He graduated in 2004 and is currently a graduate student in Mathematics at the University of Chicago.
